Ghost in the Gold Room?

Walter Flores snapped this shot on a tour last Friday in the Congress Hotel:

I wasn't near Walter at the time, so I can't say if there was a person standing there at the time. But Walter is fairly sure there wasn't, and I don't recall anyone walking over to the East side of the room - people were hanging around the West end, mostly. If no one was there, this would be the best picture I've seen from this particular ballroom.

It seems as though the figure appears to be at least semi-transparent. Good Catch !!

Sigh. Occam's Razor anyone? Come now, what's more likely? A person standing there or a ghost? Given that the former is orders of magnitude more probable than the latter, before it is even remotely reasonable to think it was a ghost you're going to need a hell of a lot more evidence.

You should read Hume's "Of Miracles": http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Of_Miracles

I'm with you, Michael - that's true of every picture on this and every other ghost site out there. There are plenty of things these shots are more likely to be than a dead person. I've never once held up a ghost shot as actual "evidence."
